Broadband for Business

Benefit's for your Business with ADSL Because of the fact your company will have permanent access to the Internet, this will allow your business to be in constant communication with your customers and business partners, and will ensure that you wont miss any important information. Fast and reliable services gives your business the power to sharpen its competitive edge. With the latest High bandwidth capabilities you will be able to rapidly download and keep up to date with all of the latest business software, which overall makes ADSL Broadband a good investment. Your business will also be able to have multiple users using the same phone line at the same time, whether it's for the internet or for phone calls. With Broadband your internet time is unmetered as it is always connected, therefore there is no call charges, just one monthly payment of around just under £30, depending on the broadband company.
Services Available Within Broadband ADSL come into two main streams. The first is the more traditional Broadband ADSL offering includes the provision of the Broadband ADSL modem, or ethernet router, and is on a 12 month minimum contract, with a 60 day cancellation period. The second, is the Wires Only Home and Office product, where the service is limited to the provision of the connection only, with Micro Filters being needed on each telephone extension. The Home and Office services have a minimum contract period of either 3 or 12 months depending on service type with a 30 day notice of cancellation. Wires Only Home and Office allow the customer to purchase their own choice of hardware, providing increased control and reduced costs compared to other ADSL services. The Home service is, as the name suggests, intended for consumers in use with a contention ratio of up to 50:1 and provides a download speed of up to 512kbps and an upload speed of up to 256kbps. The Office service is aimed at the business community with a contention ratio of up to 20:1 and is available in three download speeds - 512kbps, 1Mbps and 2Mbps, with a common upload speed of up to 256kbps. The Office service is available in both Single IP and Multiple IP versions. In addition to modem, or router hardware, the customer will also need a Micro Filter on each extension where an item of telephony equipment is connected.

Broadband also means that you and all your staff can use the Web, e-mail and phone at the same time, all the time, from a single telephone line and all for a flat fee. Like electricity or tap water, Broadband is 'always on'. You need never dial the Internet again. Access to the Internet is immediate, and e-mail can be set up to arrive at your desktop as soon as it is sent.
